Firstly, a very warm welcome to Halfway Nursery Infant School. 

Our parent/carer handbook is intended to give you some information about our school and provide you with a flavour of what makes our school stand out from the crowd! 

 
At Halfway Nursery Infant School our children and families are at the heart of all we do.  We would like our children to enjoy their childhood and be valued for their individuality, culture and heritage.  We would like our children to go into the wider world as well rounded, happy, healthy and responsible citizens who care for the world and all the people who live in it. We strive for every child to be aspirational and forward thinking in all they do, and remain life long learners who are reflective, resilient and adaptable to the challenges of life in the 21st century. 

At our school there is a very strong sense of family and community. We believe that children will thrive and enjoy their learning when there is a strong and positive relationship with school, parents and the wider community. Hence, the school has a fun, family centred atmosphere where everyone is welcome and where every one is valued.
