Welcome to our School!
At the heart of all we do are our children. We would like them to enjoy their childhood and be valued for their individuality, culture and heritage. We would like our children to go into the wider world as well rounded, happy, healthy and responsible citizens who care for the world and all the people who live in it. We strive for every child to be aspirational and forward thinking in all they do, and remain life long learners who are reflective, resilient and adaptable to the challenges of life in the 21st century.

Artist visit
Local artist, James Brunt will be visiting us on Tuesday 25th February. This visit will not only enhance our art curriculum, but will also develop pupil aspirations about what they can be when they grow up. During the day, pupils will get the opportunity to work with him and create a whole-school piece of land art, which families can come and see at the end of the day and for the subsequent days and weeks afterwards. A letter was shared with families last week about this event, along with a voluntary contribution of £3 added to ParentPay accounts to help support the cost of this visit. (Please note, this payment item has only been added to accounts of nursery children who attend on a Tuesday).

Children’s mental health week – know yourself, grow yourself
This year children’s mental health week is working with Here4You and The Walt Disney Company, linked through the characters of Pixar’s Inside Out and Inside Out 2. The week is designed to encourage children and young people across the UK to discover how getting to know who they are can help them build resilience, grow and develop. This theme complements our work on the Zones Of Regulation.
We have launched the week with an assembly and throughout the week, children will be undertaking activities and discussions around the theme; know yourself, grow yourself.
