Welcome to our School!
At the heart of all we do are our children. We would like them to enjoy their childhood and be valued for their individuality, culture and heritage. We would like our children to go into the wider world as well rounded, happy, healthy and responsible citizens who care for the world and all the people who live in it. We strive for every child to be aspirational and forward thinking in all they do, and remain life long learners who are reflective, resilient and adaptable to the challenges of life in the 21st century.

Sharing the magic of Christmas!
Our whole staff team is committed to making Christmas 2020 magical at Halfway Nursery Infant School! Our aims are both to help make this season jolly and bright for our fabulous children, and also for us to join forces with others to make a difference in our local community this Christmas time.
Each class is putting together a performance for parents/carers which we trust will be a real ‘Christmas Celebration’. These Christmas Celebration performances will be pre-filmed and premiered over Zoom! Parents\carers will be
invited to join the Zoom session with their child to watch their class performance. As this will be the ‘premier’ of the performances, red carpet style evening dress or Christmas jumpers for the Zoom session are welcome (optional, but encouraged to make this special for the children!)
Additional Bank Holiday– Queen’s platinum Jubilee June 2022
The Government has announced that there will be an additional Bank holiday on Friday 3 June 2022. The original Spring Bank Holiday will be moved from Monday 30 May to Thursday 2nd June to create a 4 day weekend. The Spring Bank half term has already been set for the week commencing 30 May so this should not create any disruption to your school year.
If there is any further guidance, this will be shared with you. The following is a link to the press release providing more details:
