Welcome to our School!
At the heart of all we do are our children. We would like them to enjoy their childhood and be valued for their individuality, culture and heritage. We would like our children to go into the wider world as well rounded, happy, healthy and responsible citizens who care for the world and all the people who live in it. We strive for every child to be aspirational and forward thinking in all they do, and remain life long learners who are reflective, resilient and adaptable to the challenges of life in the 21st century.

Reading books
We know how much families and children are enjoying our phonics scheme, and the reading books being sent home. In order for all children to continue to have access to these books it is really important that they are brought back to school promptly and in a good condition.

PE days - reminder
Every half term Year 1 and Year 2 switch PE days so that all children get to work with the two coaches we have in school on these days. F2’s day stays the same. Therefore, for this half term the Big PE days are:
F2 = Tuesday
Year 1 = Thursday
Year 2 = Friday

Christmas!
Thanks to parents/carers for completing the text form telling us for which performances you would like Christmas tickets. The booking form has now closed and we will let you know your ticket allocation this week. Don’t forget that all babies or toddlers coming will also need a ticket.

Winter Fair - 4th December
In preparation for our Winter Fair the HIP Group (Halfway Infant Parent Group) are asking for donations of:
Pre-loved books and jigsaw puzzles - these can be brought in now.
Cakes/ biscuits - to be brought into school on the morning of Monday 4th December.
Our Winter Fair will take place in the School hall. Each class has a time slot to visit the fair. Parents are welcome to come and join their child during the time slot. If you are unable to attend the fair, then your child will still visit it with their class teacher and you are able to send in a small amount of money that they will be able to spend (we suggest no more than £5 in a named envelope/wallet).
